loves to spend as much time outdoors as possible, running, hiking, biking and spending time with her 3 kids. While in her professional life she works with PhD. students it is her children that continually motivate and inspire her. Their curiosity and unending energy and joy around the small things are good reminders to focus on what is important. Carey thinks the idea of weathering a storm is relative, storms can come in all shapes and sizes. Recently, while running a half marathon Carey battled the internal storm and realized that this race was more about finishing than focusing on the time and pace.
