Matt Swanson is a local woodworker and owner of Scituate-based BirchBarn Designs, a custom wood shop specializing in small batch artisan products. As the master craftsman at BirchBarn Designs, Matt designs and builds wood cutting boards, serving boards, beverage accessories and home goods using a variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods. And, while his pieces are unique on their own, he also offers the option to engrave last names, initials, memorable dates, or even a company logo on any of the products.
